Objectives: We examined the co-occurrence of health behaviors to determine associations with meeting physical activity recommendations. Methods: Participants were 589 11th grade girls who completed a health survey and wore an accelerometer. Health behaviors were grouped into “healthy diet” and “social support.” Girls were categorized as meeting 0, 1, 2, or 3 behaviors within each group. Results: The odds of meeting physical activity recommendations were 2.29 times greater (95% CI: 0.94, 5.57) for meeting 3 dietary behaviors compared with those meeting none. The odds of meeting recommendations were 6.79 times greater (95% CI: 2.90, 15.87) for meeting 3 social support items. Conclusions: Dietary behaviors and social support may be important for meeting physical activity recommendations.
