Objective: In this study, we describe the perceptions and level of knowledge of students who participated in Team Pentathlon (TP), to help them increase their physical activity practice (PAP). Methods: The PAP of 4 group classes (N = 98) from 5th and 6th grades during the 8 weeks of implementation of TP was analyzed and linked (via a survey) with the perceptions of participation and knowledge of students. Results: Youth have realistic perceptions of their participation in TP and have knowledge about PAP, despite their showing different levels of PAP. Conclusion: This study helps to clarify that there is no evidence of an association between participants' perceptions or knowledge level and their PAP level during TP.
